We were excited to have The Baltimore Sun’s Dan Rodricks come visit us (along with our sister social enterprise @cityseedsorg) at the kitchen! After touring the production & teaching kitchen, he was able to learn more about the work we’re doing at the Baltimore Food Hub, including job training, business training, and of course, creating culinary goodness.

Check out the episode on his podcast Roughly Speaking at the Baltimore Sun:  http://bit.ly/kitchen-visit

“School of Food is our 2nd social enterprise (at the Baltimore Food Hub). We run cooking classes as well as team building events for our corporate clients. We also have an entrepreneurship program which takes food maker’s ideas to operations over a learning curriculum that lasts almost a year. We’ve been doing that for 3 years…There’s a lot of amazing things we can teach here.”

– Deborah Haust, VP, Humanim Culinary Social Enterprise.
