Food brings people together. Period. As a Humanim social enterprise, we draw much of our food passion from serving our community through food knowledge and empowerment. So we are excited to announce a new channel of programming at School of Food called Community Kitchen! Community Kitchen will provide educational programming through cooking classes, demos, and other community events – at low or no cost to community members.

For our first line of programming, we are partnering with the Franciscan Center of Baltimore to provide workshops on how to cook – using fresh produce and dry goods from the Franciscan Center’s community kitchen. Our goal is to teach families how to cook for themselves and make healthy, satisfying meals on a budget.

Our first Pantry Cooking workshop takes place: Monday, June 18th from 3-7pm @ the Franciscan Center of Baltimore, 101 W. 23 Street, Baltimore, MD 21218. We hope you’ll join us!
