Business Training Program

School of Food’s business training program is a year-long educational curriculum for food and beverage small business owners. Students can participate in individual workshops or sign up for an SOF Passport which gives them unlimited access to every workshop, panel discussion, and networking opportunity we offer for a full year — plus other perks. We partner with industry experts to lead discussions around our outlined semester themes, and break into interactive activities for students to walk-away with tangible next steps.

Entrepreneurs in Residence

We are so excited to announce our Entrepreneurship-in-Residence program at School of Food Baltimore (1412 N Wolfe St). We are offering an affordable rate to rent our state-of-the-art teaching kitchen to an emerging entrepreneur. If you’re interested in applying, please fill out the form below.

Curriculum

Our 10-course personalized curriculum takes current and future food business owners on a journey that begins with the basics of defining your mission and unique value proposition; moves into the nitty-gritty of running a food business (like financial forecasting and health regulations); and ends with all the fun stuff you need to know when going to market, such as distribution, social media and marketing. This program can run in consecutive weeks, or throughout a 10 month timespan.       Whether you’re starting anew or growing an existing business, together we’ll lay a solid foundation to make sure your businesses is guided by a true north before we dive into more advanced topics.
